Bill: Guided Home, and Shown a Glimpse of the Future

In 1994, while working a 14-day trade show in Tucson, Arizona, Bill became deathly ill with a virus that swept through the show. His throat closed, he could barely breathe and his fever was very high. At a medical clinic he was given oxygen for low oxygen levels, an IV antibiotic and an inhaler, and told to go to the hospital if he still felt that way in the morning. That night in his hotel room he says he had no air in his lungs for an unknown length of time; he then gasped a breath, lay unable to move for 10 to 15 minutes, called the hotel operator for help and was taken to the hospital.

The Experience

Bill was working a long trade show in Tucson in 1994 when a powerful virus left him struggling to breathe. That night, alone in his hotel room, he says he saw himself leave his body through his eyes in a beautiful glowing mist. Hovering above, he recognized his body, still and wrapped in pain, and lingered for a while until a wonderful feeling of love began to engulf him.

A gateway of light opened and drew him into a tunnel of magnificent colors. The love grew greater and greater until he felt he had become that love. He felt as though he were passing through the universe, seeing nebulas go by. When he arrived, he kept repeating, "I'm home, I'm finally home," and a soft voice answered, "Yes, Bill, you're home in the light of our Lord." She introduced herself as Antonia, one of his guardians, who had traveled with him. Family and friends greeted him, all communicating telepathically.

Then he heard, "Hello, Billy." It was the voice of his brother Peter, who had died when Bill was almost sixteen and who had looked after him growing up. Peter guided him through a life review. First Bill was shown all the good he had done, the kindnesses and the care for his friends. Then he was shown his wrongs, and he says he felt the pain he had caused others as if it were his own, especially the hurt his first wife and young son felt when he left. It became so intense that he cried out that he was sorry, and he heard, "The good outweighs the bad."

A third guardian, Oren, joined them, and Bill was taken to what he calls the Hall of Events. There he says he was shown scenes from the past, present and future, including wars, and what he later recognized as the September 11 attacks on New York, including a scene in his mother-in-law's living room. He also describes two possible futures for the world, one of destruction and one of peace, and a strong message that people must come together, talk and listen to one another again, and that children's safety matters deeply.

Finally, surrounded by angels like beams of light, he was taught what he calls nine principles of enlightenment, among them choices, intuition, lessons, warnings and service. Service, even something as small as helping an elderly person with groceries or sharing a smile, was emphasized as one of the most important.

A sweet, glowing spirit told him he must return. He begged to stay, but she said, "I am six of six," and called herself his future daughter. At the time he had one son and another about to be born, and no daughter. He was pulled back through a vortex, gasped for air and slowly regained feeling. Years later, on June 6, 2000, his daughter was born.

How It Changed Their Life

He came back with a message about service, love and people listening to one another again. He says he pays attention to the number 66, which he was told is how one of his guardians signals him. He describes his daughter, born June 6, 2000, as the spirit who sent him back.
