Linda: A Life Review Healed One Memory at a Time
Linda describes dying in her North Carolina home in May 2001, watching paramedics from near the ceiling, being led through a heaven of living flowers and vast cities, healing thousands of memories in a life review before three beings who told her "We are not here to judge," and being sent back by her great-great-grandmother.
Duration: 14 minutes documented in her medical reports; she says it may have been longer
Medical Details
On an evening in May 2001, while living in North Carolina, she passed out in the bathroom at about 2 a.m. and was found lifeless and blue. She says her medical reports document that she was clinically dead for 14 minutes, from when the first paramedics reached her until an advanced life support crew restored a heartbeat, though she notes she may have been dead longer before being found. She prefers not to discuss the cause.
The Experience
In May 2001, Linda passed out in the bathroom of her North Carolina home at about two in the morning. She found herself floating near the living room ceiling, with no feet, watching her partner let in paramedics. For about 45 minutes she watched calmly as they worked, feeling no fear and no worry about bills or the dogs. When they wheeled her body out, she felt no connection to it.
After they left and locked the door, she says, the door opened by itself and dark blue orbs with pure white centers drifted in, crackling with energy. They hovered around her, communicating with one another, not at all hostile, and then left. A woman, whom she now believes is always with her, tapped her shoulder and said, "You've now got to go."
After a brief darkness she opened her eyes in a gently sloping field of millions of flowers, with mountains in the distance many times the height of Everest, and thousands of happy people. The flowers, glowing at the edges of their petals, moved aside so she would not step on them. She describes colors unlike any on Earth, a soothing chant coming from everything, and a world where whatever she intended was instantly so. Following her guide over cobbled paths, past lakes and rivers and into a vast city, she felt she spent a long time there.
Then she stood at the door of a magnificent cathedral, with pews carved from single pieces of timber and stained glass rising endlessly. At the front were three beings of swirling energy she calls the Big Three. One said, "We are not here to judge," and presented her with a box holding countless orbs, each containing a memory.
She describes one: as a baby, pulling her grandmother's cat's tail. She watched it as a stranger, then relived it as herself, then became the cat and felt its terror and pain tenfold. Weeping on a pew, she understood the ripple effect of our actions, and that the only one she had to forgive was herself. When she did, the orb vanished. She says she processed thousands of memories, the painful and the beautiful, like a smile given to a stranger, and discovered that forgiveness leads to love.
Finally, in a space of pure white, a woman approached, frustrated, saying, "You're not supposed to be here." She introduced herself as Linda's great-great-grandmother, Karina, shared her own life story, and told Linda she must return to the land she came from before September. She also described what Linda's future would hold. Linda says she returned to Australia that June, and that these predictions, including working for the police and the conception of her daughter, unfolded as described.
How It Changed Their Life
She says she learned not to judge people by what they do on one day, but by their heart and soul. She describes waking with strong intuitive abilities and premonition dreams, and now devotes herself to helping people through mental health struggles and to become the best version of themselves.
